The core competence of phpWebSite is managing content. That's why it's called a content management system. There are a couple of guides on how to install phpWS technically and how to work with modules.
Then, there's the actual content. I couldn't find a common practice guide on how to write content for phpWebSite. So I did one on my own. Enjoy!
What this article is about | |

I've been looking for a good open source content management system. After looking through a couple of alternatives, I finally found phpWebSite and liked it. It isn't a good solution for everyone. On the other hand, if you can live with it's deficits, it's a pretty good, powerful framework for content. I'm trying to write an article here, on how to write articles. This is an article about articles, so to say. Not about what kind of content you should put in your articles. But how to put that content in. While I focus on Article Manager, currently the most powerful available module for managing online texts, most of the things written here will apply to other modules as well. |

In case you haven't done so yet: Please read the article about the phpWebSite display model first. It contains a couple of definitions I am using here for clarification. If you've read the part about content there, you already know what will await you in this article. Then, I'll be a bit more verbose on all the things written there. |
